In Episode 006 of The LaziMILLENNIAL Lounge…

I’m SO excited to introduce you all to one of my favorite former mentees from my undergrad days, Shantel Houston.

At the time of this interview, Shantel has just ONE month left until she’s DOCTOR Shantel – a fully-fledged pharmacist!

But check this: she didn’t let pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy hold her back from hustling her butt off.

In fact, Shantel used the connections she built in the pharmacy world to advance her pharmacy career AND begin building a network for the entrepreneurial moves she aspires to make in the field.

Side Hustling While a Student

If you’re a student, you know how clutch extra cash can be. Shantel had the foresight to create those streams of income while working on her degree.

Shantel started not one, but TWO, profitable side hustles during her pharmacy school journey: a virtual tutoring service and a marketing consulting service.

The best part of all? She taught herself most of these skills!

what else is in store?

Having endured the pharmacy school grind myself, I just had to know how she balanced it all! Of course, Shantel doesn’t disappoint.

In addition to sharing her journey, Shantel shares so much more in episode 006:

her favorite apps for time management and organization

ways to always find and offer value to people

resources she used to self-teach graphic design & marketing

how to help companies build relationships and partnerships with others

how to cold-contact potential clients and secure. the. bag.

the strategy she used to build her own website (Online portfolio)

Shantel is truly representing and showing out for the millennial generation. (And I don’t just say that because she reminds me of myself, LOL!)

If you’re a student or recent grad, make sure to pick up all these GEMS Shantel is dropping!
